Thank you for your interest in the Parkview Worship, Music and Arts ministries. We seek to promote God-centered worship among the people of Parkview Church. Such worship pleases God, edifies believers, and testifies to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are called to worship as a city on a hill, demonstrating God's glory to a fallen race, and in so doing, we demonstrate to believers and unbelievers alike the joy of true, uncompromised worship.
Our aim is to promote and facilitate glimpses of Revelation 7:9 worship, where there is "a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb (NIV)."
Our worship strives to be both unified and truly corporate. Unified worship is anchored in the historic traditions of Scripture and the historic Church, yet seasoned with the styles and modes of today, while corporate worship engages all ages equally: children, teens, young adults, career and family adults, empty nesters, and the elderly. The elements of worship should be intelligible to all, regardless of prior church background (or lack thereof).
Worship renews our commitment to God and our relationship with Him. It is edifying and engages the heart, soul, mind and body. It is borne within the deepest lament to the highest praise. It is transcendent of culture while, in the same breath, contextualized through culture. It is sometimes comforting, sometimes uncomfortable. It is, in a word: Biblical.
